I bought this for $299+ tax and use with a Mac mini over DVI cable
Strengths:
+22 inch
+price
+text is nice
+graphics and speed
+includes the DVI cables....about $60 value
Middling
+/- brightness is certainly enough for my dark office, but i have it cranked all the way up
+/- OCD is pretty dumbed down UI (
Negatives
-lousy sound...don't bother using
-no direct volume control (but I don;t care now eh?)
Bottom line: great for internet browsing, reading. Price is competitive. I plan to keep it.

I was very much impressed with this monitor. I have not had any problems with dead pixels or dimness. I disagree with the person who had the glare issue, I do not see any reflections or anything like that and when the sun comes through the window I have no problems viewing what is on the screen. The monitor's stand is quality not bending or shaking under the monitor's weight (although no swivel feature but who cares just turn the thing). I play world of warcraft and have not seen any hints of ghosting. I would have to say 350 is more than I would have wanted to spend for a monitor but now that I own it I have no buyer's remorse. I have owned 1 viewsonic CRT and I can say their LCDs stand up again as quality.

The colors are wonderful and the images are crisp. I use my LCD mostly for e-mail, internet, and word processing. Photos pictures are great too. The built in speakers are nice and the unit is sleek and very easy to setup. This is a great monitor. I am very happy with it.

I've had this monitor for 2 months now. It's sharp and clear. I do a lot of spreadsheet processing and Photoshop work and the image quality is excellent.
At it's optimum resolution, 1680x1050, I find the font on all programs and web pages too small, but I simply hit Ctrl+ and I'm good to go. Still sharp and clear.
I'm in front of this monitor for at least 12 hours a day and love it. Even the built in speakers are satisfactory. I use them mainly for Skype calls and sometimes Media player files. I'm very satisfied with it.

This is a fantastic widescreen monitor. The color, sharpness and depth are remarkable. I use to watch DVDs, play games and edit photos in Photoshop. It does everything very well and at a great price too.
